re: A small formality

So you are arguing that because "NASA" hired them Langley Engineers are the best possible engineers. What an interesting "boot straps" argument! Wrong logically but interesting. All NASA hired engineers can make the very same claim from any center.

As I thought you make your usual mistakes in logic in your arguments over impactors and tsunamis.

There are various sized impactors that reach the surface of Earth with various amounts of energy each impact depending on angle entry, size, relative speed to Earth, etc...

So claiming an impact which might create a tsunami will have greater energy levels than an earthquake is absurd and show a fundamental lack of understanding of geology and impactors. You are also confusing causation. I suggest you look up Questionable Cause Fallacy. You want to associate A and B without any evidence other than one might have followed the other.

Just as not all larger undersea earthquakes produce a tsunami not all large impacts would create a tsunami. It would also be very hard to date the two event close enough together to produce anything beyond a remote possible connection. Without sediment with telltale iridium or other makers your just being absurd and the numbers of such events are vastly out weighted by earthquake driven tsunami. You seriously remind me of Don Quixote!

Have any papers that document this flawed concept or is this your "expert" opinion remembering you yourself have said here you have no expertise.
