And thanks for bringing it up, because we have become so far removed from what "Christmas" really stands for.........we need to be reminded.
I find myself finding less and less amusement with the holidays and it's materiality. Gift buying and giving is traditional, and so are family dinners; that I can handle. But everyone forgets what He (the Master) was all about. They forget about his teachings and how he cleansed and forgave all with his LOVE.
Not with pre-emptive stikes, not with 500 lb. smart bombs, not with white phosphorus, not with Rumsfeld's Abu Garaib, and not with shock and awe.
He would literally be turning over in his grave to witness that what we have done in His name. However, if we do not realize the mistakes in His teachings, we are doomed to repeat them.
