How do you vote? How would Jesus vote?

The year 2525 is right around the corner and the new world council is having a meeting on finalizing the constitution for the long awaited totality of a terriformed Mars which will be ready to accept the first colonization of Mars starting on the new year.

Hundreds of elite scientist, administrators, technicians and military personal have been pre-selected, along with tens of thousands of qualified personal of the many necessary trades picked from a lottery base.

The concern is what to do if someone starts a rebellion against the established government on Mars and gains support and control of some military personal and assets.

The meeting has become heated as the discussion turned to some believing and reflecting on the previous 500 years of how that society of people were deemed selfish regarding protecting humanity and let humans be suppressed, tortured, killed and controlled by dictators without freedom of expression and freedom of belief, which put major strains on the rest of the people and resources on Earth. Others are declaring that no war should ever be permitted on Mars and talks should be the method, even if people were killed in the coup and others are forced to comply with the new ruler.

It’s time to vote.

What do you suggest for Mars constitution?

Do we send forces to Mars to put down this defiant dictator even though hundreds maybe thousands of innocent people might be killed in the name of a free people and the future of humanity to remain free and safe?

Or do we send negotiators to try and convince this dictator he is doing the wrong thing and never wage war on Mars even though people are being suppressed, tortured and killed in the hopes of a successful outcome, no matter how many years it takes, if at all?
