I have heard that story before but I do not believe it.
So what? It does not change the reality.... What should we believe? On one side we have decades of professional work and science by people that devoted their lives to learning the facts, or the rantings of an intellectual pissant... hmmm tough choice....
First of all, liquid iron can not be magnetic, if any ferromagnetic material is heated sufficiently it will lose its ability to display ferromagnetic effect.
The only way a hot and conductive material can create a magnetic field is if it is conducting an electrical current through it, or if it is ionized and moving at high velocity.
Look up the dynamo theory and try to learn...http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dynamo_theory
The idea of the ions that are orbiting around the Earth (in the Van Allen belts) causes the magnetic field, sounds much more plausible.
only if you have ZERO knowledge of physics...
After all, the ions in the Van Allen belts have been detected with instruments, the motion of the Earth's iron core has not been detected.
That is garbage: http://www.news.harvard.edu/gazette/1996/08.15/PuttingaNewSpin.html

Don't make wild claims without doing research... Still want us to take you seriously?

Get it through your skull: REALITY DOESN'T CARE WHAT YOU THINK!

- Answer to Lee about magnetism.
- electrons don't really "orbit"
- Earth's magnetic field
- re: Earth's magnetic field
- Just something to consider....
- Earth's core is solid.....the mantle is liquid.
