I sent an e-mail to the Planetary Society today.
What I asked for in the e-mail to the Planetary Society
was, "Why couldn't they send part of the late Carl Sagan's
remains onboard the Phoenix Mars Lander to be launched
in 2007 to the surface of Mars?"
Afterall, the late Dr. Shoemaker got part of his remains sent to the
lunar surface, and now we have the late Clyde Tombaugh's remains
flying off to the stars.
If you're interested in contacting the PS over this issue,
their e-mail address is tps@planetary.org.
Mr. Friedman is still the big honcho at PS, Mr. Friedman and I don't see-eye-to-eye on many issues. I hope he responds to my request.
cheers.
Jacob
