I kind of think Olympus is fine the way it is.

Sagan was a driver in Mars exploration, but not that pivotal. I would have no problem in naming some prominent feature after him (are you sure there isn't one already? I don't keep close track.)

Of course, Mount Sagan would be better than the Grand Tetons.
