INTELLIGENT DESIGN (Late Night Live: 18/01/2006)
Think tanks and Christian conservative groups in the US are promoting a
politically sophisticated theory called intelligent design that circumvents
the US constitution's separation of church and state by never explicitly
mentioning God. They argue evolution is a theory - not a fact, and that
teaching alternative theories such as Intelligent Design should be part of
the school curriculum. Originally broadcast on 21/6/2005.
