I quess you mean a Jaguar or a Volvo? Or, how about a Toyota Corola? That car is only made in the US and exported to Japan.
I used to chuckle every time I saw the old Pontiac Le Mans. That car was once designed in Germany, most of the parts made in Japan, assembled in Korea and all the data entry was done in the Dominican Republic. Only the dealer sticker sign was "Made in America," you know, the one where the destination charge appears.
Look at the percentage of parts on any car and look at the made in Canada, hecho en Mexico, etc. attached to the parts that go into cars.
The point being that the major corporations are today multi-national in nature. They are not American corporations--they are global. As such, they have no particular allegiances to anything other than comparative advantage.
The "New World Order" is globalization, not Americanization.
