Car companies that don't build cars that people want to buy for prices they're willing to pay are sliting their own throats
When I shop for a car for my wife or myself (once every 4-5 years on average), I give the American cars a good hard look. The last two cars we bought were a Honda and a Toyota. I'm not going to buy crap, American made or not. Over the years, I've owned several American made vehicles. All of them had more maintenance issues and had lower resale values than Japanese cars. American cars are much better than they were 20-30 years ago but they're still of lower quality than a lot of the imports and cost as much or more. Sorry, but no sale.
