Here is a recent response from our resident know-it-all to what I thought was a fairly balanced reply I made about the dangers of overreacting to actions of terrorist leaders.

You don't have a clue. And you sure as hell don't know anything about Arab culture. Bin Laden wrote hundreds of gloating words describing America's supposed cowardice in the face of lethal force in incident after incident. Those people have a term for those who "turn the other cheek." It's "prey."

How the HELL did you get into the Navy? What did you think your job was going to be, to tow stranded sailboats to shore?

Please, Democrats. Run a candidate who thinks like this. One who says we can deal with a little terror attack now and then without flying off the handle, or doing something hostile.

Tom, your posts lately reek of an insecure little child, hiding behind his keyboard slinging barbs at people he's insulated from.

Nowhere in my post did I say I would shy away from a just fight only that I wouldn't charge head on into a trap. You're living in a fantasy world little man, one that if you ever had to face head on would result in you standing there pissing your pants while others that kept their reason instead of falling prey to fear and rage would be devising a quick plan to end the problem.

You want to take on my virility child, go for it. Just be warned. I've taken down much stronger and wiser men than you. I think it's pretty obvious to the other readers on here that you're getting desparate in your debating technique and starting to resort more and more to personal attacks to try to get your deluded points across. I seem to find ways to bring that out in you. Maybe it's because you get backed into a corner by hard logic and you only know one way to try to get yourself out of that predicament. A rational individual would simply acknowledge the losing points and dwell on the gray areas where he has equality or a bit of an advantage. You instead attack on all points, using bullying methods to try to divert away from the topic.

Here's the problem Tom. Bullying only works if the bully convinces their adversary that they're stronger and more confident than they are. I know better. I've seen the picture you posted wearing the Darth Vader helmet. Nowhere in the goofy, friendly smile is some hardened warrior or someone that has learned life from the streets. You're a spoiled little boy Tom that lives in some cowboys and Indians world where John Wayne comes riding to the rescue. I hope you can retain that sheltered life and never have to face the kinds of adversity I've had piled on me. Then again maybe you need that slap upside the head to teach you some humility in your white bread little life.
