I'm walking across a almost deserted campus on a pleasant afternoon. Totally lost in thoughts and day dreaming. Looking up, I suddenly noticed something pretty weird - an apparently angry and furious looking tiny man glaring out at me and everything generally .. from a pram. We were coming from opposite directions so as I got closer I saw it was actually a small child with the fixed furious expression one would normally only see on adult faces. What was also strange was that the parents had the perfectly mild expressions and good manners I see in all Muslim families in the street and shopping centres. Thing is though I'd never seen an apparition of the likes of in that pram. The kid was about 2 or 3 years old. I've been wondering since what sort of cultural or family influences turned the public face of a very small boy into that of a furious and obsessed adult.
