these furious, violent and arrogant people dare to compare themselves and this situation, with Jews vilified by the media under the Nazis. There are certain important differences though -

- Tens or Hundreds of Millions of Muslims have NOT been massacred since Christ for no reason other than peacefully following their own religion. So maybe Jews have more reason to be paranoid.

- Nazi movies about Jews compared them to rats running in the sewers; the age-old Christian blood libel (whic caused pogroms murdering millions over the centuries) has Jews ritualling killing Christian babies and using their blood to bake festival bread. On the other hand, these cartoons do nothing more than satirically point the finger at the vicious intolerance of the Islamists, which everyone knows very well does exist and is indeed real.

- Jews generally don't threaten everyone with violence and murder when they or their religion has been satirized or even vilified. Even though they would have more reason to than this bunch of bastards. At most they try and silence Holocaust deniers, and get defensive about attacks on Israel.

.. I am very glad the battle lines are being drawn through the issue of freedom of speech - that suits very nicely the character of this particular culture war.
