Nothing ruins a punchline...

..more than placing it in the wrong spot. My post was meant to be under your other post titled - the "He had to be drunk" one.

Sorry about that.

As for Clinton...his extramarital activities were not my focus, rather the complete vulnerability to blackmail and favors he became to anyone who knew. And folks did know. China may have missile guidance technology now because of some under desk shenanigans.

Cheney, was not going to blackmailed by Whittington and so no national security threat is involved.

Sure shooting someone by accident is a significantly worse personal crime than some extramarital 'whoopee'* but personal flaws that create personal and subsequently national vulnerability is where the public must be the most concerned.

When you see things the way I do, one sees that Dick Cheney has just replayed a more severe and traumatic past life. His heart condition is no accident. All these things stem from past actions and events. He has a negative relationship with this Whittington and it has replayed itself. Now they try to work it out by being friends but in the past it's very likely Cheney fired intentionally at Whittington's heart.

Cheney carries that baggage with him. I didn't know where it stemmed from before - but this replay made it perfectly obvious.

That's why I find it so completely pointless for anyone to wish ill towards the man, as everyone can't escape getting their just desserts. Cheney, Bush and Clinton or any other politician.

We all carry this baggage. Wishing others ill because we dislike them or their behavior only attracts them to us tighter. Before anyone can move forward from this level we all have to befriend our worst enemies.

No, it will not be easy...but it will teach one to develop an keen insight and an unconditional love of all humanity.

*I have wanted a reason to dig up that old term for awhile.
