I have been trying to keep up with this story. Apparently Dubai Ports World
Is buying out the London company. The London company is the one with the rights to the US ports, so once they are taken over by Dubai, Dubai will have control of all their operations.

They are saying not much will change from the way it is now. The British and Americans that hold current jobs for the London company will keep their jobs.

I heard on the new that we have Chinese companies controlling some of our ports. How long has that been going on?

Personally, I don’t like any foreign companies controlling our ports, be it Arab, Chinese or British.
