Wrong

RobVG: "So you have no recollection of the final pleas by the biological family for another review of the case?"

MY REPLY: Prior to Congress sticking its ignorant nose into the matter, the Schiavo case had been heard by a total of forty different judges all of whom concurred the facts proved she was in a persistent vegetative state and would not want to have been kept alive in such a condition. It had already reached the Florida Supreme Court twice and the U.S. Supreme Court once before - each time with the same result. This is perhaps the most litigated private family dispute in American history. Constitutional due process had been served.

Congress and the President interfered for pure political purposes that had nothing to do with the appeals of the Schindlers. They intervened without knowledge of the facts, having never read the voluminous record of multiple court reviews.

Congress is supposed to make laws, not adjudicate them. That's the role our Constitution gives them. They have no business sticking their political butts into the middle of a single specific court case. They wasted millions of taxpayer dollars pandering to the religious right for political reasons. It had nothing to do with the well-being of Terri Schiavo or her family.

And it was the U.S. Supreme Court that found the actions of Congress in this matter unconstitutional - not once but twice. That's the job our Constitution gives them. Apparently you are unfamiliar with it.
