You apparently didn't follow the story very closely. After Congress acted so shamelessly the federal courts were petitioned on the matter twice. The trial court summarily dismissed "Terri's Law" twice as without merit and unlawful intervention by Congress. The Court of Appeals sustained both of the trial court's dismissals, and the Supreme Court let the appellate court's dismissals stand twice. I am amazed you missed all of that - it was in the news 24 hours a day at the time.
