1. Global warming is certainly a fact
2. Humanity contributes to the warming to some extent but far less than some believe and more than others admit.
3. Nothing significant will be done about it. Perhaps the USA will be cut off at the knees but the worst offenders will press on. Our loss will be the third world's gain and the profit makers will not lose a nickle. The western middleclass living standard will take a hit and global warming will continued unabated to any noticable extent.
4. Over the next 100 years the results will be less than predicted by the most fearful and perhaps more than predicted by those that choose to ignore the problem.
5. Hopefully in a hundred years we will be moving off of this rock. That is the only long term solution unless you want to jump on the Ebola bandwagon.
Another way to look at it is that if the warming is a calamitous as some believe the calamity will provide a solution as effective as the Ebola idea so why bother to spread a plague.
Actually, I believe the problem will take on a softer edge under a more liberal political administration .
