Ethnic cleansing is widespread in Iraq. Religious and ethnic minorities are being forced out of their homes and moving to areas where they are the majority. The defacto division of Iraq is already beginning. Sure American deaths are down. Iraqi deaths are up. Even the usually upbeat Iraqi blogs are gloomy, as I'm sure you know.
Unless a national unity government is formed very soon, and all militias are disbanded, Iraq will disintegrate right before our eyes, along with whatever remnants of influence America has in there.
