Yah, it would be just 'great' to return to the moon 50 years later with an unpressurized, small, 2 person lander with minimal to no cargo capacity, incapable of landing anywhere except at the equator, just like Apollo. Incapable of exploring the lunar poles, incapable of long duration stays. Really great.
I'd say, tube the entire thing rather than spend tens of billions just to repeat a downscaled Apollo touch n go 'explorer'.
