I remember being very nervous at liftoff! Will it work? It did!!

Then, for the landing, I tried to follow Joe Allen's (he was the capcom) face: was he concerned or...smiling? He smiled (right after communication was re-established after re-entry)....and that meant it all: a successful flight!
For the first time, a huge winged vehicle coming back from space, landed on its....wheels!
