...The gentleman misspoke that it had increased by $700.00...letting one think it had been in one year....actually...it was only up a total of 54% in two years. From 958.00 in 2012...1,250.00 in 2013, to 1,520.00 for 2014. At least the deductible stayed at $500.00
The story, other than that however is true. My son wrote it when he found out his Dad, my husband, truly is going to have to come out of retirement, to pay for the increase. He was sick about it. He offered to pay for the difference himself, but we won't let him. He needs to get insurance himself.
It is through Lockheed Martin...group insurance for retirees. Every retiree's is going up.
I sincerely apologize for my son cooking the numbers, and creating a false impression.
