As examples of "right wing atrocities" (your term, not mine) go, you gotta admit these are pretty damn weak so far.

What next? You going to give me an example of a professor that had a "Reagan" bumper sticker on his car? Maybe if you had more details on the second guy?

Look, I'll admit that I threw you a curve ball. You aren't going to find an example of a rabid nut-ball right winger at any mainstream university. They get drummed out of academia almost immediately, assuming they ever actually get into the system at all.

I will concede that you will find conservatives in academia, but most are fairly serene in their behavior, as the examples you gave were. Maybe some free-market economists or engineering professors.
