That looks like just the thing I need! For one of these, I'd even wear a helmet to drive.

Hopefully, with the price of gas finally going up for good (we all know this, right?), these tricycles will take off and the price to buy one will come down a little.

As it is, my current roller skate is running out of spare part supplies.

Whenever I need something big, or something to go more than 150 miles one-way, I rent anyway.

Looks like the answer to a commuter's dream, if only we can see above the vans and SUVs when attempting to merge or pass on the highways. (Already a problem in my current small car.) It would certainly be an incentive to keep to the back roads, which are plentiful around here.
