We have a very big wall in the UK to prevent illegal immigration. It's called being an island.
Doesnt stop vast quantities of people making it in though.
This wall sounds to me like an effort to appear to be taking action rather than actually taking action because, as is the case here, the people in charge just don't really know how to solve the problem.
