First, you shift AWAY from ER's question:
>why is it that the environmentalists always seem to be in some sort of conspiracy against free enterprise?" which we all know you avoid a simple question and go on to complain about the complainers, not the do-ers.

Good story about your Dad though. Are you sure you weren't have teen angst that your dad was wasting his time? Did you have a hard time accepting that all his hard work still ran into snags and unrewarded projects?

>"I told him that the reason for all this is that they didn't want his company to clean up their act. They wanted his company dead."

That's vicious. And you're back to dissing the "crazy" environmentalists who YOU see are The Root of All Evil. You won't even be pleased that certain green organizations, along with their scientists and lawyers have given capitalist polluters a conscience and made many more landfills and rivers a safer environment for all our kids.

Quit biting off the head of the movement without seeing it's benefits.
