I'm really surprised that you've forgotten that the FBI is part of the Executive branch. That explains a lot...

Do you suppose that in all those months the FBI never briefed the Attorney General? Especially when it's the good news that it's a Democrat under investigation, for a change--that must've raced up the chain of command at the speed of light.

You're not really going to fall back on Presidential cluelessness again, are you?
