You might've read my developing thesis about the problem of Party power, and how it undermines democracy by interposing the Parties between the people and their government. Do you think that strong political parties increase, or decrease, the opportunity for corruption? Or to put it another way, are polictical parties more or less likely to contain people "who can rise above the power and money"?
