I think we have both types of people in both parties, and this is why both parties are in such turmoil right now.
Sometime politicians can rise above power and corruption. I think Joe Lieberman and Rudy Giuliani are two that do rise above power and corruption. Unfortunatly, I can not think of too many other examples, and that is sad.
