I think I pointed out in another post that it would be ridiculous on the face of it to assume that a Congressman would have to be convicted of a felony in court before he could be investigated for that crime.
If you think someone has to be even formally charged before a court-approved search warrant can be served on him, you might want to take another look at the law.
