I didn't say there were icy asteroids with atmospheres and moons.
I said there are lots of asteroids with moons.

Planets have moons, and indeed so do asteroids.
FWIW - I follow Alan Sterns planet classification. Big enough to make itself round and orbits the sun rather than another larger planet...then it's a planet. A minor planet, an outer planet, a distant planet...but a planet.
