It's been bugging me that I couldn't come up a counterflame. Or more precisely, the energy for a counterflame, because your so-called flame is just another day at the Zone, another attempt to smear Democrats/Liberals/Leftists by trolling the Internet for something whacko and/or outrageous, then implying that it represents all of us. The only slight pretext for putting it on Flame is that you're less weaselly than usual about trying to pin the whackiness on me personally.

But perhaps ennui is inspiration for a metaflame:

Because, who cares? After years of reading your obsessive attempts to validate your delusions about the scary Evil Left, it rolls off me like water off a duck's back. All that you've established--and long ago, you could give it a rest--is that you suffer from a tragically advanced case of levophobia. And while I feel bad for you, being a bleeding-heart Liberal and all, it's not my problem.

I mean really, how can I respond to a lame flame like that? Should I go to nazi.org and return to gleefully report that they consider themselves ideological siblings of Libertarians? Who cares?

Or I suppose I tap into humanity's zeitgeist by playing the Oracle at Google game. Do you know how many hits you get when you search for "nazis republicans"? 12,600,000! How many for "soviets democrats"? Only 9,960,000. Obviously, therefore, Republicans are about 33% more Nazi than Democrats are Soviet. Hah! Proof positive that Republicans are more evil than Democrats!

Hey, I think I'm on to something here. 2,150,000 hits for "republicans traitors", 1,390,000 for "Democrats traitors". Republicans are...let's see...55% more traitorous than Democrats. 5,480,000 for "republicans treason", 3,590,000 for "Democrats treason"...yep, 53% more treasonous.

And then there's 72,200 for "Republicans shitheads", 34,300 for "Democrats shitheads". Republicans are 110% more shitheaded than Democrats!

So there! Nyah nyah nyah na NYAH nyah!
