re: re:Yes, but
WHY is it possible for a proton to become a neutron?
Perhaps I'm not being clear with that question.
Perhaps if I explain myself a little further, It has been determined that a neutron will become a proton if it looses an electron (plus some other small "particles"), and it has been proven that a proton becomes a neutron if it "absorbs" a negative (and other) "particles".
If this is so, then what happens to the "charges" in these reactions. Or in other words: How does the "spin" change the "charge" of the proton?
