Your only point in bringing up the incredibly obscure Kony was to try to deflate the point gbaikie was making by saying "Well, look what a CHRISTIAN is doing!"
It should make you wonder that you have to work that damn hard to locate an ostensibly "Christian" terrorist operating now. Oddly, I have no trouble locating many dozens of radical Islamic terror actions across the globe, many preceding 9/11, and many involving nations with absolutely nothing to do with either Afghanistan or Iraq.
Right now, radical Islamists are taking over Somalia, to turn it into Afghanistan II. Where's the call for action? What are the Democratic solutions?
If you're anti-war, why so eager to send our troops after Kony? There's something odd there.
You think this kind of viewpoint is peculiar to you? Or that it started with Bush? It's part of a general behavior pattern I've seen on the Left for years. Only then it was apologetics for the Soviets, Mao, and any other communist group that popped its head up.
"Gulags? So what? What about how Americans treat minorities?" Somebody actually said this to me on a campus once.
More recently, it's more subtle, and usually in the form of "Well, yes Iranians are stoning their women BUT..."
