Or we'll have to take this to Flame.
Why is this "news"? Only because gbaikie is looking for another reason to justify our invasion of Iraq?

That whole country was backward, a culture quite violent and far removed from our own. So when no WMD'as were found, we brought up "democracy". Billions and billions of OLUR dollars for "democracy". Which my kids and their kids will be paying for while the rest of the country goes bankrupt because of this noble gesture.

I found something MUCH MORE despicable than this yesterday that made me wonder why we don't go in and get this man who fights as a warrior of Christianity, raping, mutilating, torturing and killing his adversaries in South Africa. But no, we won't because we really don't give a crap about them. (They don't have any oil for one.)

I was going to post the story with exactly that viewpoint, but the story was tragic and disheartening, and I didn't want to use it to make a point. I've checked my history for the article but can't find it now, although I researched the leader, who's name I forgot.
I might just keep looking though to make my point.
