Me, niether

Packaged microwave meals??? Not into my mouth, thank you.

I've done without a "nuker" before, and could again, easily -- and permanently.

There is a microwave here, taking up valuable counter space, that gets used once in a very great while to start frozen meat thawing (though in this current weather, putting it outside in the 100+ heat for a little while is just as useful, and costs nothing).

Mind you, this is a two-guy household: strictly roommates, but both of us know how to cook for real, from scratch. That we only do twice a week, on average, derives in part from our separate schedules and habits, and the rest from just not feeling like it.

That's what sandwiches are for.

Last place I lived, the microwave was used mostly to warm leftovers of previous nights' from-scratch meals. Even so, depending on what it is, re-warming in a saucepan on the stove-top is still better.
