I agree that microwave meals are generally tasteless. I remember seeing an experiment some school kid did germinating and watering the same types of plants, one with tap water, the other with cooled microwaved water and the latter failed to thrive as well as the others.

And yes, boiled water tastes flat. Am thinking of getting an electric kettle. However i prefer to cook my breakfast, eat sandwiches or salads for lunch, and if nobody's buying I usually eat quick foods for dinner.
I don't have much of a social life getting ready to pull up stakes and move on out of here.
