Why automobile makers throw out the old design and bring out a new model every year, when the old model was just fine.
Keeping up with Jones's?
Or the fashion industry?
What a waste of raw material and metals.
My dad was a stickler for this hogwash. He got a new car every year up until he was 75. Bring it home, sit it in the gargage and it would depreciate five grand or more every year. Sometimes they'd have less than 2,000 miles on them before he traded them in. Always kept the doors half-shut, so as not to squeeze the rubber seals.
Eeeeee.
That was my inheritance.
Oh well..........dad was an eccentric, an Aquarian no less.
