Internationalism is a greater good than any nationalism, and since you are someone who has devoted his life to the efforts of ALL spacefaring nations, it's too bad you should have to put up wtih these insults. - Also, it's important for the world to have contemporary Europeans like you, who reject the carnage of earlier times and so urge us all to a better future.
And of course it's true (as pointed out below), the US also has a very violent and miserable history - as does probably every other nation which has made its mark.
