Tom, one thing you're failing to see in your arguments is that most of the other companies you cite sell a product that isn't essential to the general welfare of the nation and its citizens.

You might want to go down that list of companies I mentioned and rethink that statement.

And if liberals honestly believe that production and distribution of petroleum production is part of the very long list of things liberals think are just too important to leave to the private sector, go for it.
