Good post LJK.
It seems we want the aliens to come in a nice little package, all sewn up with the Good Housekeeping Scientic Seal of Approval on it.
And who can blame those who wish for concrete evidence?
It's like searching for God, or the Holy Grail. You will see evidence of it, but you'll undoubtedly never be able to touch it. Or get concrete evidence of it's existence. It would blow your shorts off.
I mean think about it. We'd have to have walls and walls and filters and filters just to step down the information without overloading. It wouldn't be like a real meeting with physical contact, it would have to be done with some form of cryptography or another form of communication; otherwise the exchange of information would be overwhelming and we'd find ourselves unable to process it all. If "found", what kind of people could interpret it?
What we all want is PROOF of their existence. Like rock hunting when it would be more like bird watching. A lot of scientists or even "space enthusiasts" as we have here, completely and utterley ignore decades of detailed reports and investigations of individual ufo eye witnesses who have seen/heard/inter-acted with ufos and possibly their occupants.
They are all "nuts", wierdos, crackpots. I find this very telling as far as their world views go. There have been many excellent multiple witnesses cases where time and space has been warped, and there are just as many physical case traces, all of which are considered "garbage" by many here. Yet here is the EVIDENCE produced by scientists, doctors and experts in their field and it is all tossed out as mumbo jumbo.
And it is here, that everyone should be looking. Because you'll find out "whoever" they are, they come in all different colors under many different circumstances and they all appear to have warped time and/or the electro-magnetic field to get here.

- You got detailed SETI plans? Then let's hear them. I would be genuinely interested in the details
- faith based, not science based
- Further papers on the subject
