I have no idea what the outcome of the Florida vote would've been had it been completely fair...

I have no idea what the outcome of ANY election would have been had they been completely fair. In 2004, much was made of the Ohio election process. Oddly, other states carried by Kerry by much closer margins were ignored entirely in this regard.

The most remarkable aspect of Bush Derangement Syndrome, or to be more accurate, Republican Derangment Syndrome, is the idea that dirty politics, partisan politics, and money politics were suddenly invented in America in the last ten years.

The term "political machine," for decades, referred almost exclusively to Democratic operations. Nobody seems to remember what politics was like when Democrats ran the show in Washington for forty years.
