AVG clean and effective

I use the non-free version which may be no better than the free version but you get a 2 year subscription for definition updates instead of Norton's 1 year.

I always have a hard time believing anything free has value and I do believe your virus protection should have value.

Eliminating Norton cured more problems than I had imagined. My system loads much faster and more efficiently and I do not have the IE crashes.
