Rational human beings of all stripes tend to be more flexible and will entertain the notion of crossing over and voting for another party's candidate, depending upon the issues, priorties, and circumstances.

The Hezbollah Islamic fundamentalists are anything but rational and clear-thinking human beings...they don't "cross over"
