That's quite a perspective. Maybe they should just nuke Beirut, with such a wonderful justification!

Including three attempted Arabic wars of extermination against Israel, when the weapons were more even.

If you are going back 50 years, then why not 60 and justify a war of extermination by Israel vs. Germany? Why not go back 150 to justify a Lakota guerilla war against us? (to continue the absurdity)

I pointed out with examples that the news media were not covering the results of hundreds of rocket attacks on Israel daily.

I simply don't believe you because I have seen (and heard) stories about attacks on Israel every night.

I showed examples including films of Hezbollah basing its attacks from civilian homes and apartments, including rocket launches almost literally from people's living rooms.

As opposed to launching the attacks from open fields, the way brave Americans and Israelis always do it? Holy smoke, it's dumb to debate this silliness. Maybe the Hiz were watching TV and saw what happened to the Republican Guard when they attempted to maneuver vs. an aggressive AF? Hiding in cities (and yes: amongst civilians) is one of very few advantages they have. What would you have them do, if you were in charge?

I pointed out that a dead Hezbollah fighter automatically became a "civilian" in this war. I would not spend hours of my day investigating this. I would assume that stuff like this goes on. They are bad guys. They do bad things.

We saw Hezbollah launching deliberate attacks without warning into Israeli civilian areas, while Israel SOMETIMES dropped warning leaflets into areas they were planning to attack, something which no doubt was of immense use to Hezbollah planners, and cost the lives of more Israeli soldiers. Typical behavior for terrorists, no?

I have shown with examples the utter contempt that Hezbollah has for the U.N., the Lebanese government, and the cease-fire/disarmament process. These people know damn well they can get away with almost anything, and not lose the blind support of their defenders in the West.

Defenders in the West (if there is any such animal in numbers significant enough to talk about) have pretty much no affect on anything. Defenders among the Lebanese, the Syrians, the Iranians, and the Arab world in general are the ones we need to worry about.

We can't kill them all, Tom. Making these baby steps towards killing them all does harm rather than good.
