I am surprised there are still many Yiddish speakers in Europe,

particularly in Germany, after the Holocaust.

I'm glad to hear it. It is fitting and proper that the fascist effort to exterminate European Jewry only succeeded in dispersing it to the rest of the world, where its future is assured. There is some justice in the world, after all.
