Sorry for the late reply...

I'm still waiting on HD to be installed in my building, but even with digital satellite (Directv) the picture was much improved. I was watching it on a Sony LCD widescreen t.v.

The bad news is that it's on at midnight in my area (Denver).

If you can find the episodes locally they are a nice treat - faithful to the original with improved effects, picture, and sound.
