Kind of a rhetorical question, given the incredible lengths that you and most other Wingers go to try to demonstrate that "everybody jes' hates us!". I suppose at one level it's just a nasty rhetorical trick to deny people who disagree with you the respect of acknowledging that they're capable of thought, even if their conclusions disagree with you. It's also a childish and transparent distracting maneuver, like a little kid trying to evade responsibility by trying to put a grownup on the defensive with accusations of sinister motivations, rather than admit to misbehavior.

But at a deeper level it demonstrates a sick need for that kind of negative validation. Do you fear that you'll cease to exist if nobody acknowledges you at all? That if people didn't hate RightWingers, they wouldn't care about them at all?

Sad, man.

I don't hate you, SDAI-Tech1, nor do I hate any Conservatives. I want to understand Conservatives because I know so many of them, and they're an important part of my life. While you posture with that sickeningly patronizing lecturing, I think I demonstrate my sincerity by putting so much effort into these dialogues, to try to both find the truth, and to draw you out.

The life of an authoritarian conservative looks, to me, like hell on Earth. No human being should have to live in fear all the time, nor submit to the will of another, most especially a despot. I don't hate acons because I see them as victims, people whose perfectly normal kernel of primate AC tendencies has been exploited and cynically used. I would, if I could, because I am a Liberal, try to help; but not by telling acons how bad they are, because they're not really bad people, but by shining the light of truth on what's been done to them. I can only lead you horses to water, but I can't make you drink.

If you learn about AC and how it works, and you still want to devote yourself to inducing clinical dehydration in RightWing authority figures, that's your choice, and you're on your own.

But I don't hate you for it. OK? Relax....
