" I want my Classic Conservatives back! "
You make me yearn for the old days, Robert.
When staunch conservatives would hold the moral high ground with their pipes, starched shirts and conservative moral and fiscal responsibilities. Nowadays they have their hands in way too many pockets and don't seem to think twice about who they're fleecing.
And they do it with the motto "One nation under God". And they go to church!
Of course many Dems do that too, but people like Ken Lay, Skillings, Tom DeLay, Cunningham, and Jack Abramoff all were feeding off and being fed by the pork at the top. Between that, the quagmire and the sacking of the Geneva Convention and parts of our Constitution; I can see why many are discouraged by the exploitation of their party.
