One Million unexploded cluster bombs is preposterous propaganda only an idiot would believe on face value.

It's not the first time I've heard a number in that ballpark. Several days ago there was a report on NPR in which someone (who I beleive was actually a member of the Israeli military, or perhaps ex-member) suggested it was close to 1.2 million.

I apologize for the sloppiness of the citation, but I heard it while driving to work and didn't have a chance to make notes. Besides, my jaw was in my lap.
