I have this vision of politicians learning to play the gerrymandering game on my grid of small hexagons, trying to block and surround each other. I don't underestimate the power of politicians to figure out how to game any system, so I'd expect whatever new scheme we come up with will only last a few years until they figure out how to cheat. But a respite of even a few years would be very welcome.
